ALEX SHIRLEY 

Singer / songwriter and bassist for JONAH and the WHALEWATCHERS, has been bringing the irie vibes to dancehalls and festivals wherever he goes for over a decade.

Jonah was voted Best Band in Monterey County for 2007 by readers of the Monterey County Weekly entertainment newspaper.

 This artist contributed one of the best tracks to the reggae cd "Skankin' Cali Style - Compilation One" from Represent Music in 2002, and the latest track "Children", was chosen for the "OUT OF ORDER" cd compilation produced annually by CSU Monterey Bay.
